Accor re-launched its meetings website last week allowing MICE professionals better access to its new products, global MICE incentive programme and its new A|Club loyalty programme.
At the enhanced meetings.accorhotels.com, meeting planners are able to book meetings at over 2000 hotels across the globe including venues at Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel and Mercure.
Agents can also access a new Small Events Online Booking Solution which will be launched in Asia Pacific from 1 October this year.
It is ideal for organising meetings at short notice as it allows fully automated on-line booking of meetings for up to 30 delegates, including venue hire and accommodation bookings
The website also details the conferencing incentives currently offered by Accor, such as Novotel's $60,000 prize draw incentive and Mercure hotels 'pay for 2, 1 for free' conference offer.
There are also brand-specific meetings offers which allows A|Club Meeting Planner members to earn loyalty points for conferences, meetings and events booked before 31 December this year.
Loyalty card members are not usually eligible to receive points for the event side of conferences.
Members will earn 1 A|Club point for every 2 Euros spent (converted from the hotel's local currency) for a group of 7 or more people. Personal expenses incurred at the hotel during the conference period can also be used to gain points.
Points can then be converted into cash vouchers for use in more than 2,000 hotels in 90 countries or be used with Accor's partners or converted into points with airlines.
Meeting planners must register for an A|Club Meeting Planner card at www.a-club.com and quote 'MeetingPlanner'in the promotional code field to be eligible for the loyalty points.
