Emma Aru is President and founder of the company ega professional congress organisers. She is considered the pioneer of the congress industry in Italy, she is involved in training and teaching at university level and has published several articles on congress organisation. She actively participates in many professional associations and represents ega in most international organisations. She is also involved in public relations’ projects. She is member of IAPCO, ICCA, MPI and she is in the Board of Directors of INCON, International Conference Network – UK. She is member of AIDDA, the Italian association of women entrepreneurs, and of the Taranto Rotary Club.
