Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre (ZZICEC) was awarded the “China Top Ten Marketing Award” in the Conference and Exhibition – Ten Years – Trend – Ceremony organised by the China Conference and Exhibition Magazine on 23 December 2010 in Beijing.
ZZICEC is managed by the Hong Kong - Shanghai Venue Management (Zhengzhou) Ltd (VMZL) since June 2006.
Mr Cliff Wallace, Chairman of the VMZL, was delighted to receive the recognition from the industry professionals.
“The management team of ZZICEC is pleased to obtain the award. Special credit should be given to the marketing and sales team members who have paid lots of effort in promoting the ZZICEC locally and internationally since the opening in 2006."
"The recognition reaffirms that their achievements are remarkable,” he said.
Since 2006, ZZICEC has hosted 535 international and national events including 154 exhibitions and 381 conventions. An exhibition area of 23,260,000 sqm was utilised and received more than 5.6 million visitors from home and abroad.
Major events held in ZZICEC in 2010 include Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair, Henan Investment and Trade Council, 2010 China International Agriculture Products Trade Fair, 2010 Zhengzhou International Automobile Expo, China Automobile Parts Fair and China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition.
The Top Ten Marketing Award is to recognise exhibition and convention centres in China which has outstanding performance on managing and promoting the venue in the past ten years.
The award is regarded as the most influential recognition in the China exhibition industry.
