Co—Following a string of awards recently garnered by Vail Cascade Resort, General Manager Brett Schoenfield has been notified that the west Vail property has been nominated for two new awards from the readers of Colorado Meetings + Events magazine.
“This is terrific recognition from meeting attendees. We take a lot of pride in our ability to host all kinds of groups from five to 500, and we offer our own team of destination management coordinators who can help with all aspects of events. Our entire team is excited to be a finalist.” stated Schoenfield.
The awards that Vail Cascade has been nominated for by Colorado Meetings + Events are “Best Meeting/Event Venue Outside Metro Denver” and “Best Restaurant with Private Dining Space-Atwater on Gore Creek” for the 5th annual Best of Colorado Reader’s Choice awards.

The awards are designed to honor the cream of the crop in the regional meetings and events industry.”
The announcement of award winners will be held in Denver on March 14. There are two additional finalists in the categories that Vail Cascade has been nominated for, and the initial pool of contestants included more than 100 properties.
Vail Cascade Resort offers 45,000 square feet of meeting space, including indoor and outdoor facilities in the newly renovated conference center.
Additionally, the property offers dedicated destination meeting planners that can arrange every aspect of the event including transportation and off-property activities.
The property strives to be aware of practices that are “green,” meaning that numerous environmentally friendly options are available such as organic foods, recycling efforts and a complete listing of other “earth friendly” actions.
