The Vail Cascade Resort has launched a new online “Trip Planner” application tool.
The Trip Planner tool offers users the ability to browse a wide variety of activities and amenities available during their Vail visit, as well a chance to create a personalized itinerary for their stay.
According to Katie Johnson, Marketing Manager for the Vail Cascade, one benefit of the Trip Planner Tool includes a deeper interaction for potential resort guests as they work with on-property “Experience Planners”.
The experience planners are Vail Cascade associates who live and work in the area and speak with future visitors to help customize their vacation. Between the live connection of the experience planners and the comprehensive online Trip Planner tool, Johnson believes that the resort provides a unique opportunity for guests:
“Through the combination of the Trip Planner Tool and the Experience Planners available via phone, potential guests become educated about the abundance of activities at Vail Cascade and the surrounding area. For those travelers who have not decided on a destination, this can play a major role in their final purchasing decision.”
Johnson also notes that “the streamlined process lets guests create a single itinerary, instead of having to book accommodations and activities at different times or via different processes. Experience Planners follow up with the guest to confirm activities within 48 hours. This creates another point of contact between the guest and the resort, strengthening the guest relationship”.
