The Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre (RHH) has seen a marked increase in new business over the past few months.
With many new events, including The London Textile Fair, which has moved from the Lexington Garage in Soho, and The Tramshed, part of the 2011 London Design Festival, the RHH is looking forward to busy times ahead.
The Halls will also see the launch of a brand new exhibition later in the year. Conceived by the Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors, Workplace Ergonomics & Productivity will deal with all aspects of workplace ergonomics, occupational health, HR, facilities management and health and safety.
Sue Hull at the Institute says: “We chose the Halls because of the ambience. We visited four London venues and the RHH has the perfect amount of space, great facilities, a prime location and it offers great value for money.”
Commenting on the business growth, Fergus Wilson, Head of Commercial Operations at the RHH, commented: “That we have gained a significant number of new clients in the Halls this year is really encouraging and reflects the progression of the events industry as a whole."
"Playing to our strengths of excellent value for money, an accessible location and an all-encompassing package has paid dividends not just with new clients, but also seen many existing clients renew long term contracts.”
Among the existing exhibitions and trade shows which are held at the Halls, a number of organisers have reported a sharp rise in the number of visitors. Mel Carlile, CEO of Mind Body Spirit, said: “Since our re-launch in 2009 we have experienced a steady increase in visitor figures, and this year’s May festival saw the highest figures since the show began.”
