For the 17th year in succession, World Travel Awards is acknowledging excellence across all sectors of the travel and tourism industry.
The award, considered to be one of the most prestigious on the international travel and tourism scene, is awarded by key decision makers from within the industry.
Nominees are judged on criteria such as service, product quality and innovation, guest satisfaction and outstanding services.
This year, the Maritim Jolie Ville Golf & Resort Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh received the coveted award in two categories: "Egypt's Best Convention Resort" and "Egypt's Best Golf Resort".
This luxurious hotel had also been recognised as the best golf resort in the previous year's awards.
