Showing their support for Breast Cancer Care, the team at Church House Conference Centre has raised £355 by taking part in 'Wear it Pink' day on 29th October 2010.
Money was raised throughout the day via a series of staff charity activities including a raffle where prizes included Champagne and tickets for Madame Tussaud’s, and a cake sale which proved very popular with visitors to the venue with over 180 'pink' fairy cakes being sold.
Staff also showed their support to the cause by wearing pink and contributing to an office swear box!
Robin Parker, General Manager of Church House Conference Centre explains: “The team at Church House are passionate about this particular charity and each year come up with new ways of raising money, this year the cake sale was a real hit!".
The donations raised during the day will help fund innovative, world class research throughout the UK and Ireland to find a cure for Breast Cancer.
