At its general meeting in Quebec the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) honoured the International Congress Center Berlin (ICC Berlin) with this year’s award for outstanding services in support of large-scale conference events.
The ICC Berlin had already won the World Travel Award for the Leading Conference & Convention Centre. Now Messe Berlin and the employees at Europe’s largest conference venue have received a further accolade.
Raimund Hosch, Chief Executive Officer of Messe Berlin: “Messe Berlin’s commitment and its comprehensive range of services have long given Berlin a head start over its competitors in the global market. Thus I am all the more pleased for us to receive this award from IAPCO.”
Inge Hanse, head of CPO Hanser Service, a global company based in Berlin with offices in Frankfurt and Hamburg, was equally delighted: “Over the last 25 years our cooperation with Messe Berlin has been fruitful and above all a success. Messe Berlin’s employees always provide outstanding service.”
The award is due to be presented at IMEX, the MICE event in Frankfurt/Main, on 24 May 2011.
