Eventia, the official trade body for the UK events and live marketing industry is the latest to receive the Scottish Exhibition + Conference Centre’s (SECC) coveted Champions award.
Mark Saxby, Chair of Eventia was presented with the award in recognition of the trade body’s key role in highlighting Scotland as a destination for international events.
As part of the SECC’s 25th Anniversary Year celebrations, Eventia is one of 25 organisations and individuals being recognised for the positive impact they have had on the business over the years.
The award was presented during Eventia’s annual summer conference that saw over 230 leading events delegates flock to Glasgow’s SECC earlier this month, putting Scotland firmly on the map as THE place for the events industry to do business.
The SECC is the UK’s largest integrated venue making it a fitting choice to host the events and live marketing industry’s annual summer conference.
