Echo Arena Liverpool, part of ACC Liverpool, has become the first events arena in the UK to launch an app for the iPhone.
The application which is free to download on iTunes allows users easy access to the arena’s forthcoming events, ticket availability and prices.
The option for a quick link to the website enables online bookings to be made as well as a direct ‘call box office’ function for convenience. The GPS tracking feature will assist visitors in finding the arena and also give directions to nearby train and bus stations.
Tim Banfield, General Manager Echo Arena said, “We are very excited to be the first arena in the UK to have produced an iPhone app. Our aim is to make our visitor’s experience in searching, booking and arriving as simple as possible."

The iPhone app enhances the Echo Arena’s product offering for visitors, firmly putting the venue on the map and setting the benchmark for others.
This is version 1 of the application - a second version is already in development which will include further features to help spread the word about the arena’s programme of events.
The app is available for free at the iTunes App Store (search for ‘Echo Arena’).
