Cheltenham Racecourse Feeds Minds

cheltenham-rc-salad-barIn response to client requests Cheltenham Racecourse has launched a ‘Superfood’ DDR offering clients an exclusive healthy menu when they book an event during January and February.

The package aims to maximise vitality and mental alertness during the first two months of the year, which are notorious for healthy resolutions following festive over indulgence.

The ‘Superfood’ DDR is available from £34 + VAT per person with a minimum of 20 delegates and includes an array of healthy options for delegates during their conference or meeting.

Healthy options include fruit packed smoothies and hearty granola bars as well as a ‘create your own salad’ bar featuring a selection of local meats and freshly made breads.

Cheltenham Racecourse is known for its top racing fixtures throughout the year hosting one the UK’s most prominent race days the legendary Cheltenham Gold Cup.

However when the course is not hosting a racing event the venue, located only one mile from Cheltenham town centre, offers a multitude of event spaces including The Centaur, a 2,250 seated auditorium with state-of-the-art lighting and sound capabilities.

Susie Bradshaw, conference and events manager at Cheltenham Racecourse said: “We wanted to create a DDR which benefitted both the delegates and event bookers, research has revealed that healthy food boosts energy and promotes concentration in-turn enhancing productivity."

"We know that January and February are healthy months for a lot of people and we wanted to create a package which mirrored this mentality by encouraging our delegates to eat healthily and feel better for it.”
