ACC Liverpool has teamed up with National Museums Liverpool (NML) to host an innovative and unique display of art inside the venue which is home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena.
The ‘Through the Wall’ programme, funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), will see a number of iconic objects and artworks from National Museums Liverpool’s city centre museums and galleries bursting through the walls with the biggest manifestation, a giant West African bronze head, peeking through the Echo Arena window.
Bob Prattey, CEO of ACC Liverpool said, “The idea behind the project is to showcase the city’s cultural attractions to our visitors, enhancing their experience of Liverpool."
"In addition, it gives us the opportunity to bring some art into the venue, complementing and enhancing the architecture of the building.”
