Assets of USA Hosts, Ltd. have been acquired by a newly-formed company, Hosts Destination Services LLC, to serve as a platform for building a world-class, global network of Destination Management Companies (DMC’s).
The new company will continue to do business as USA Hosts, the leading destination management company in North America for over 50 years.
Hosts Destination Services Chairman Frank Andrews announced the transaction and pledged immediate continuity for employees and customers.
“We are very excited to begin so strongly. Our existing clients are transitioning seamlessly and all of the employees are excited with the new opportunities and direction. It’s all working quite well. Now we get to focus on growth and continuing service excellence.”
Andrews is also separately the President and CEO of August Jackson, a communications design agency.
USA Hosts was the first-of-its-kind Destination Management Services Company in the United States, opening in San Francisco in 1958. Today it leads a group of DMC’s servicing more than 40 destinations in North America.
