Despite the ash cloud covering Europe and the resulting flight cancellations, more than 65% of registered participants made it to this year’s USI EMEA User Conference, April 18-21 at Geneva Palexpo.
Long journeys by car, train or ferry could not prevent customers from coming to Geneva and attending the conference.
A broad range of educational and trendsetting sessions held in German, English and French, as well as opportunities to exchange information with industry colleagues and USI consultants awaited the participants during the three days of the conference.
The agenda covered new functionalities, modules and enhancements in Ungerboeck Software’s browser based version v20. The new Email Marketing Module, for example, enables the dispatch of personalized and target group-specific emails.
In addition, it allows the analysis of marketing campaigns (measurement of click through rate etc.). Customers were also very enthusiastic about Ungerboeck’s Mobile CRM Module, allowing them to access and edit customer contact details outside the office via mobile phone.
On the topic of web design, Ungerboeck presented its Content Management Module, which supports users with no or limited HTML knowledge in creating professional websites, including search engine optimization.
Renowned USI customers such as the Dubai World Trade Center, Amsterdam RAI, Carlson Wagonlit Travel Meetings & Events, and Geneva Palexpo provided a glimpse into their current projects.
Carlson Wagonlit Travel showed how their complete meetings and events business process can be covered by Ungerboeck Software; from customer inquiries to post-event processing including quotes, contracts, invoicing and attendee management.
Amsterdam RAI and Geneva Palexpo pointed out that the general trend is moving away from paper exhibitor manuals to online web shops.
Via an exhibitor portal, exhibitors can upload information and order items easily. Internal and external suppliers get informed automatically about new orders and which items need to be delivered or installed.
