During IMEX America earlier this month, a group of hosted buyers and DMCs met at the Creative Cooking School of Las Vegas to cook their dinner themselves after the first day of the show.
Hosted by MacTisell World Partners the 19 participants prepared, cooked and ate an ‘All American Affair’, guided by Chefs Christopher Lindsay and Michael Anderson, CEC.
The four course dinner included, but was not limited to Hot & Spicy Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Dip, Mini Sirloin ‘Sliders’ (mini hamburger), Pan Seared Rib Eye Steaks With Whiskey Peppercorn Sauce and All American Pie with Fresh Caramel Cream as desert.
Ursula Mac Tisell explains: “The goal of the event was to foster relationships between buyers and DMCs who have never met before. Cooking together seemed like the perfect way to experience hands on what it will be like when working together on a program.”
The evening created a sense of camaraderie between participants that made buyers come back to the MacTisell World Partners booth again and again during the following two days to discuss business.
