EGA Professional Congress Organisers will manage all the ancillary personnel working at the Expo Italian Pavilion during the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai, China.
The ancillary activities will be run by ega in joint-venture with the Chinese partner NEXXI and in collaboration with Congress Corporation.
“We will try our best to give all Expo visitors the best image of Italy in every detail, pretty aware that each human resource working at the Italian Pavilion will be a sort of ‘ambassador’ of Italy. Emma Aru, President of ega, comments the company’s new International project.
150 hostesses/messengers and a staff of 17 people will welcome visitors and institutional delegations coming to the Italian Pavilion, and they will help them explore all the three floors which include: an exhibition area for both permanent and temporary shows, spaces dedicated to lounge and relax, reserved areas for VIPs and institutional Authorities and different zones used for services to visitors.
The personnel will also take care of all guests invited to the several events scheduled in the Italian Pavilion’s calendar and which will take place during the Expo’s 6 months.
The first phase of the project is currently already in progress with the recruitment and the selection of the personnel, which will be mostly Chinese, but always multi-ethnic and multi-lingual, in order to reflect the multi-ethnic nature of this International event.
The personnel will consequently be trained vis-à-vis and e-trained by a staff of teachers that includes: the ega project manager with a long experience in academic lectures, experts in Cerimonial and Protocol rules, experts in Italian culture and art historians, institutional officers, companies and sponsors present at the Italian Pavilion, experts in team building, foreign languages and safety.
Expo 2010 represents for ega also a fundamental chance for improving its knowledge of the Far East market and, specifically, of one of the countries that have been mostly influencing the global market.
