With this year’s edition of EIBTM, Congrex announced that it will be an overall Supporter to the Association Programme.
Congrex’s collaboration will be more extensive this year as it will be assisting with the design of the overall programme and be responsible for facilitating sessions during the event as well.
The Association Programme is part of EIBTM 2010’s extensive seminar programme offering the latest in professional education opportunities and is led by some of the most influential industry experts, covering the latest key issues and hot topics within the industry.
The content being designed by Congrex will include topics such as Getting a Fair Deal which will address maximising results when negotiating with destinations and venues; and Financial Structure and Security for an Association and Event.
One of the highlights of the two-day programme will be The Great Association Debate. This session will be facilitated by Congrex’s CEO Dr Layth Bunni who will lead a panel of industry experts on the current issues faced by International Associations in the existing ever-changing environment.

Congrex also will be producing the Event APP, especially adapted for the Association Programme and will examine closely the benefits to the participant experience during the Great Association Debate.
With the Event APP participants can navigate their way through the Association Programme via their phones, using an interactive map, view event details and times, receive reminders of key events, and interact with speakers by sending instant messages - the application also functions as a pop-up social network for niche audiences to communicate with each other.
During this year’s show Congrex will also host several Hosted Buyer groups and will organise their Client Forum in Barcelona as well.
