GEP Philly, a premier destination management company based in Philadelphia, announced that Waiel Abdallah has joined the company as a Creative Services Manager.
With 5 years of experience within the Philadelphia area meetings and events industry, GEP Philly "is thrilled to have Waiel on board".
He most recently worked as the Director of Facility and Events at Turbine Hall Events.
Waiel played a role in every aspect of the event life cycle from sales, marketing, planning, and execution of events for clients such as Audi Motors, Lance Armstrong Foundation, Accenture, TheKnot.com, and Proctor & Gamble.
Waiel has resided in the Philadelphia area for 14 years and has worked closely with local chapters of ISES, MPI, and HSMAI.
In his role at GEP Philly, Waiel will be responsible for the development of customer proposals, event design and supplier sourcing. Waiel will combine his graphic design background with his logistical planning experience to positively impact the GEP Philly product and services.
Lauren Huezo will be handing over these responsibilities as she focuses her efforts as the Director of Sales.
