Vanessa Cotton, who was appointed as the non-executive Chair of Reed Travel Exhibitions’ meetings and events portfolio last year, has announced that she is to leave in June having successfully completed her role.
Announcing this, Richard Mortimore, Managing Director of Reed Travel Exhibitions, said: “Vanessa was appointed to support and advise the meetings and events portfolio team. Her experience and stature within the meetings industry worldwide has also helped us review our global portfolio, grow our international connections, and to develop their potential.”
"My objectives when I joined Reed were to contribute to the development of all four shows in the portfolio, to spearhead the launch of a new American show (AIBTM), to develop a plan for America Meetings Week and to help appoint a Group Exhibition Director for the meetings portfolio. I'm really proud of the fact that we have achieved all of those things,” said Cotton.
"I have had a great time, worked with some amazing and inspirational people and achieved much, but it’s now time to move on to my next challenge."
