Robin Lokerman, CMM, chief executive officer of the MCI Group’s Institutional Division, has recently become chairman of The Center for Association Leadership Board of Directors.
Together with ASAE (American Society for Association Executives), The Center for Association Leadership provides resources, education, ideas and advocacy to enhance the power and performance of the association community.
A national of the Netherlands, Lokerman is the first foreign-born and the first internationally-based chairman of The Center Board.
He founded GIC Management, which became Europe’s leading full-service association management company and later merged with MCI.
Lokerman is responsible for strategic and business development of MCI’s services to association and government markets and responsible for offices throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East and Latin America. He frequently consults associations on their strategic planning, board assessment and international development.
