Margie McCartney, global sales manager for Allied International and PRA Destination Management was recently recognized with PCMA’s Pillar Award, voted on by peers and members of the Greater Midwest Chapter of PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association).
The Pillar award was created to honor a planner or supplier who is recognized as an unyielding support of the chapter through dedicated participation, enthusiastic committee involvement and leadership.
McCartney has served the meeting planning industry for over 25 years, servicing and managing client relations and has been an active member of PCMA since 1995.
“Margie continually strives to advance the DMC industry through her dedicated work ethic and leadership skills,” commented Kathy Fort Carty, president of Allied North America, overseeing PRA Destination Management and its 20 US-based franchise and wholly-owned offices.
