The purpose-built Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) announced the appointments of Ms Monica Lim Ai Lee (left) as its new Sales Manager Meetings and Entertainment and Ms Florence Lee (right) as its new Training Manager.
Ms Lim, with close to 10 years experience in sales in the hospitality industry, will implement and maintain a commercially effective sales plan to promote the Centre, its facilities and services to achieve a profitable business mix in the Meetings and Entertainment sector.
Ms Lim is responsible for maximising venue occupancy, revenue and yield for the Centre’s TenOnCall, dedicated spaces for meeting. She is also tasked to promote an entertainment portoflio to contract commercially viable sales for the Centre.
Ms Lee. with more than eight years experience in training and business management, will be responsible for training and development, performance management, and organizational Culture for the Centre’s workforce under the Human Resources department.
A graduate in Human Resources Management and Marketing, her scope of expertise includes programme design and implementation, team development and facilitation, crisis management and prevention as well as communication planning.
Lee’s appointment reflects the Centre’s long-standing commitment to staff training and growth opportunities.
