Jonathan Young, a veteran of more than 10 years in the hotel and meetings industry, has joined the Krisam Group and Global Events Partners (GEP) as Vice President of Sales in their second West Coast office.
Krisam Group (Krisam) is a top national sales company representing over 250 independent and unique Member hotels and GEP is a leading partnership of destination management companies (DMCs) worldwide.
Young brings over a decade of industry experience to Krisam and GEP. His career has focused primarily on The Venetian & The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casinos, Las Vegas, NV, most recently as director of national accounts based in San Francisco.
In his new role at Krisam and GEP, Young will develop new business in the West Coast market while continuing to cultivate his strong existing relationships in northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

Young began his career as a Sales Manager with The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, Las Vegas, NV, in 1999.
By 2002 he was named Sales Manager of the Year, having achieved more than 140% of his annual goal. In 2003, he was promoted to National Sales Manager, and in 2004 to Director of Sales collaboratively overseeing a staff of 20 sales people. During this time he consistently exceeded sales goals for the world’s largest convention complex.
In 2009 he became Director of National Accounts, The Venetian & The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casinos, Las Vegas, a regional position based in San Francisco to sell, book and maintain a west coast account base which included many of the nation’s top high-tech companies.
Active in industry associations, Young has served as the Director of Finance for the Green Meetings Industry Council, Northern California Chapter. His memberships include Meeting Planner International, Northern California Chapter; Meeting Planner International, Washington State Chapter; and Las Vegas Hospitality Association.
He is a graduate in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
