Elodie Coudre is leaving the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau next April 20th for new horizons.
Since her arrival in 2004, at the creation of the Convention Bureau, Elodie has contributed to its development and to its being recognized by professionals in the sector.
Today the Convention Bureau team accompanies some 350 projects for major congresses each year, a third of which are competing at an international level.
Thanks to meticulous referencing, Paris was classed as the world’s leading congress destination in the 2008 ICCA ranking.
And the Convention Bureau has effectively federated tourism professionals, who have signed a charter for the hosting of major professional events.
Much of Elodie’s success is due to her energy, her professional abilities and her human qualities.
Cécile Mairaville, who already has a sound professional experience in the business tourism sector, will take over from Elodie as manager of the Convention Bureau, from June.
