The Scottish Exhibition Conference Centre (SECC) is to host the Scottish Ski & Snowboard Show, marking another significant consumer exhibition win for the renowned Scottish venue and strengthening its position as a premier destination for consumer events.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural Scottish Ski & Snowboard Show, the event, lauded as Scotland’s premier snow sports exhibition, aims to attract over 10,000 visitors to the city when it returns to the SECC in October.
The Scottish Ski & Snowboard Show joins a number of other significant consumer exhibitions who have selected the SECC as their venue of choice for 2011, including the Ideal Home Show Scotland and the Scottish Wedding Show.
Josh Littlejohn, Event Director of the Scottish Ski & Snowboard show said: “We are pleased to be returning to Glasgow and the iconic SECC for next year’s exhibition. Its central location and the city’s excellent transport links ensure that snow sports enthusiasts from across Scotland have access to this event.”
Ben Goedegebuure, SECC’s Director of Sales commented: “To attract such a major national exhibition back to Glasgow is an incredible triumph for the city as well as the SECC. It is encouraging that this show is returning following a successful show last year, demonstrating that with the right product, service and support our customers choose to bring their business back to the SECC.”
