The World Ophthalmology Congress (WOC® 2010) that is being held in Germany in June 2010 is the largest international congress on the theme of ophthalmology.
From 5 to 9 June 2010 eye specialists from all over the world will be meeting at the International Congress Center Berlin (ICC Berlin - photo) to discuss the latest findings in ophthalmological research.
This international programme will be preceded by the 2010 conference of the German ophthalmological organisation, Augenärztliche Akademie Deutschland (AAD), 2010 under the umbrella of the WOC® 2010.
From 3 to 6 June 2010 the Akademie will be presenting an extensive programme of advanced training and professional development.
Over 8,000 eye specialists from all over the world, together with leading experts in this field, will be presenting the latest developments in ophthalmology at numerous symposiums and courses during the WOC 2010.
There will be days devoted to such topics as “Retina”, “Glaucoma”, “Cataracts”, “Refractive Surgery” and ”Paediatric Ophthalmology”.
