A team from George P. Johnson and Davies Tanner are running in the Cancer Research UK 10k Challenge, to raise funds for Cancer Research in memory of their friend and industry colleague, Vanessa Cotton, who lost her own battle with cancer earlier in the year.
The team, made up of runners from both agencies, is hoping to raise £10,000 (10k for 10k) by collectively running at Hampton Court Palace on Sunday 3rd October 2010.
Organisations within the conference and events industry are being encouraged to offer both personal and corporate sponsorship of the event, by donating funds via www.run10ksponsorme.org/vanessacotton
