Australian Business Events Expo will open with new features, an exciting educational program boasting new speakers and unparalleled new networking opportunities for thousands of business event professionals.
Known as The Destination for Business Events, the Expo brings together hundreds of exhibitors who offer information and ideas for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibition organisers.
This year the show expands its national reach with 48 exhibitors from QLD, SA, VIC and TAS comprising nearly 30% of the Expo floor.
Gabrielle Stephens, Event Manager for Australian Business Events Expo, believes the new national exhibitors will provide the delegate with a broad offering.
“The national reach will deliver diverse offerings to visitors and provide a more accurate representation of the entire country’s business events landscape,” says Stephens.
Australian Business Events Expo has worked with Meetings & Events Australia to organise an impressive line-up of speakers for the Educational Seminars.
“Our visitors want to access up-to-date and interesting information to organise effective business events. The seminars are a rare opportunity to learn from our industry’s most experienced talents."
“The presenters represent decades of success with Australia’s top events; our audiences will hear valuable insights into current trends and take home practical tips in areas such as managing budgets, sustainability, the lingo of AV, creative venue choices and more,” says Stephens.
Executive Chefs from Australia’s leading event venues will cook up their signature dishes in front of delegates in Taste Kitchen – the not-be-missed feature on the show floor. The chefs behind Hilton Sydney, Laissez Faire, Dockside Group, The Log Cabin, Navarra Venues, Sydney Showground, Mantra Group , AIH Group and the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre will reveal trends and tips whilst showing their culinary skills.
Be a Connoisseur, a brand new feature, will sample award-winning produce from artisan food and wine suppliers. Sydney Showground will bring together the winners of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Sydney Royal Fine Food Shows for tastings of gourmet event options.
Organisers of business events can ‘try before they buy’ corporate entertainment acts by seeing the latest offerings perform live in the Limelight Lounge over the two days of the show. Many delegates find that this feature saves time and money for across their entire event calendars.
Expo Happy Hour, 4.00pm to 5.00pm on Thursday, is open to hundreds of industry professionals who wish to network on the Expo floor with a glass in hand. As a prime networking opportunity it is the major event of the Expo.
Australian Business Events Expo is co-located with RSVP Sydney 2010, the premier tradeshow for the special events industry.
Delegates to the Expo will get double value for their time with the chance to walk between both shows and explore the entire spectrum of event ideas.
Australian Business Events Expo will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from 10.00am to 5.00pm on 22-23 July, 2010. Registration is free but essential. Tickets to the educational seminars are limited.
