The access Austria trade show, a platform for decision-makers and professionals of the convention and congress industry, will be held on 3 and 4 October 2011.
There will be plenty of opportunities for networking, exchanging ideas, exploring creative solutions, discovering new industry trends and for following up on business leads. In addition to the attractive exhibitor offerings, access will also delight visitors with a comprehensive specialised programme at the access academy.
The academy’s main topic will be “Manage and Communicate Change”, and the programme will feature presentations about “Communication and Conflict Management” as well as “Change Management”.
In addition, case studies will demonstrate how associations both large and small have successfully implemented change management processes.
In addition, the access academy will explore whether incentives still matter in today’s business world. Industry experts will address this issue and speak about the latest developments.
The academy will also focus on the subject of “Teleconferencing Versus In-Person Meetings” and will provide an analysis of the pros and cons of internal communication in times of change.
As in previous years, more than 200 Austrian exhibitors will be present at access 2011.
The exhibitors represent all areas relevant to the convention and congress industry, including convention centres, conference hotels, event locations, agencies (PCO, DMC, AMC, incentive agencies), convention bureaus, tourism organisations, marketing and sales networks, catering businesses, providers of technical services for conventions and congresses, booth building services and haulage firms, among many others.
The Austrian National Tourism Office’s (Österreich Werbung) austrian business and convention network (abcn) has invited international “hosted buyers” interested in the Austrian convention and congress industry to attend and encourages them to explore innovative ideas and to find new business partners in Vienna.
Austrian Airlines, an Austrian airline carrier, will ensure smooth arrivals and departures for all international attendees.
Once again, access plans to follow the “Green Meeting“ criteria defined by the Austrian eco-label, which will further underscore Austria’s pioneering position in the area of sustainability.
Admission to access and access academy is free of charge for industry professionals.
