London's Commonwealth Club, a bastion of philanthropy and giving, has created special rates for public sector organisations in the UK.
Situated at the very heart of the capital, The Commonwealth Club has been home to The Royal Commonwealth Society for over 100 years.
The Club’s Northumberland Avenue address is the base for the international charity whose premise is to engage with people across the Commonwealth and facilitate debate and educational activities.
For 2010, rates will be discounted by up to 25% for bona fide public sector organisations. The day delegate rates have been created to ensure that both budgets and product offering are maximised and directly reflect today’s finance driven directives.
All revenue generated by events booked with The Club is ploughed directly back to The Royal Commonwealth Society, thereby ensuring that the charity’s community projects can be fulfilled.
The Commonwealth Club has developed an enviable reputation for its stylish event spaces and location amongst the UK’s event professionals. The Club’s people, like the RCS’s goals, remain at the very top of the agenda.
A dedicated team of planners ensure that each event is planned with meticulous detail, their underlying goal to maximise a return on investment for the event.
Seating from 2 to 250 guests, The Commonwealth Club has hosted many high profile public sectors events - from the Prime Minster to Morgan Tsvangirai and FW De Klerk.
Shaun Whitehouse, Club Manager said: “There is an increasing need for organisations to fulfil their CSR obligations; this can be achieved through a simple meeting with a far reaching effect across the Commonwealth”.
