Shakespeare Country is to launch a new 'Added Value in Shakespeare Country' conference campaign with a special 'meetings themed' competition.
The competition will be launched on Monday 21 September to coincide with the first day of 'National Meetings Week' which aims to encourage the use of meetings, conferences and events.
The meetings & events industry is currently worth over £22 billion to the UK and creates over 1.78 million jobs.
The competition features two fantastic prizes, one of which is a free meeting room with complimentary equipment hire for up to 8 people at the award-winning Mallory Court Hotel.
The other is a free meeting for up to 20 delegates at the Kings Court Hotel in Kings Coughton with a buffet lunch and refreshments in their new conference suite which opens in February 2010.
The 'Added Value in Shakespeare Country' campaign is to demonstrate the excellent value that can be found in the region for conference and event organisers. The campaign will consist of a series of e-newsletters featuring special offers available from venues and suppliers which all offer something a little extra to the conference organiser.
Offers will be regularly updated via a dedicated section at www.shakespeare-country.co.uk/conference
The Shakespeare Country Conference Bureau offers a range of free services including venue location, a delegate & group accommodation booking service, discount attraction tickets, transport arrangements & meet and greet services, incentive itineraries, social & partner programmes, a corporate gift service and information on the area.
The team works closely alongside venues and suppliers to negotiate excellent rates and ensures clients always achieve the best value for money.
Siân Smith, Visitor Services Manager for the Shakespeare Country Conference Bureau stated "Our 'Added Value in Shakespeare Country' campaign is designed to show clients that whilst Shakespeare Country is a quality destination, it also represents 'value'. The Pounds devaluation against the Dollar and the Euro means there has never been a better time to host events in the UK. The more money we save our clients, the more likely they are to return to Shakespeare Country time and time again".
To enter the competition, simply answer the following question: 'What is the name of Mallory Court's Michelin award winning chef?'
E-mail the answer, which can be found on the Shakespeare Country website with your name, organisation, telephone number and email address to conference@shakespeare-country.co.uk - with National Meetings Week Comp in the subject box.
The closing date for entries is Friday 16 October 2009 and the winner will be announced in the Shakespeare Country November e-newsletter.
* Terms and conditions apply and the prize is subject to availability.
