With a fresh concept and an entertaining script, the setting aimed to set this award presentation gala apart from the tradicional ceremony.
The fourth edition of Premios eventoplus award was presented in the set of a radio show in USA in the 40's.
More than 900 personas, comprising of agencies, providers and end clients, attended the event in IFEMA, Madrid.
The 175 candidates received also marked a record in participation.
The awards give recognition to 15 different categories (See Annex with categories, winners and finalists) in the corporate events sector and three higher awards: the Special Jury award, the Special Mention for Creativity and the Special Public award.
The biggest award of the evening, the Special Jury award, was awarded to the agency DraftFCB Spain, for a project that recreated the mythical travels of the Cutty Sark ship between Shanghai and London in the XIX century.
The agency d6 received a Special Mention for Creativity for the Halloween Project designed for the televisión station Calle 13. The event consisted of a night with witches as a tribute to mothers-in-law which ended with a concert by Luis Aguilé.
The Public Award (most votes from the public via Premios eventoplus website) was given to the event "Encuentro Edp", organised by the agency Desafío Global Ativism for the energy campaign un Portugal. A three-day event held in Lisbon and Oporto with 8,000 collaborators in the campaign.
The jury is made up of personalities from the sectors such as events, marketing, communication and specialised media.
The high level of specialisation that exists in the corporate events sector is reflected by the fact that there is a different winner in each category. There were 50 different projects as finalists which can be viewed on www.premioseventoplus.com
