The first multi-disciplinary congress of the European CanCer Organisation (ECCO) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) will be the largest medical conference of the year to be held in Berlin.
From 20 to 24 September attention will focus on the latest developments and findings from scientific and clinical research, practical treatment and patient management.
More than 15,000 cancer specialists from every continent are expected to attend this scientific programme comprising 26 groups of topics, at the International Congress Center Berlin (ICC Berlin).
The aim of the congress is to obtain concrete findings of benefit to cancer patients: changes in the course of the disease through preventive measures, earlier diagnosis or improved treatment based on new findings resulting from a more unified approach to cancer therapy.
