ExCeL London announced the first confirmed bookings for its Phase 2 development.
Both the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) Annual Meeting in July 2011 and the Annual Congress of The European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) in September 2014 have now been confirmed into the new facility.
When the doors open on 1st May 2010, the £160m investment will extend ExCeL London's current event space by 50 per cent to include a flexible 5,000 seated auditorium, banqueting hall with seating for 3,000 and a flexible conference suite for up to 2,500 delegates and will secure its position as London's premier international exhibition and convention centre.
On time and on budget, the new convention facilities are already creating a huge interest in the marketplace.
