Echo Arena, part of ACC Liverpool, has launched a specialist Groups Department in response to growing demand for group bookings.
The Echo Arena plays a firm part in the rejuvenated city's culture and has attracted world class acts in the field of music, dance, theatre and sports.
Since opening in 2008, the Arena has attracted over 850,000 people to events as diverse as the MTV Europe Music Awards, BBC Sports Personality of the Year, British Indoor Supercross Championships and The X Factor Tour.
The Echo Arena's in house box office launched in 2007 has sold over 600,000 tickets resourcing both internal and external events locally and regionally - developing the Groups Department is an extension of its current success.
The new Groups Department reflects the demand from domestic and international visitors, and of course locals. With dedicated staff, it will facilitate ease of booking, rate negotiations for groups and facilities for coach drivers.
Users will also benefit from a targeted communications programme and seasonal offers and incentives.

And with tour operators promoting Liverpool as an upscale city break hotspot, the Echo Arena has become integral to the leisure break offering.
Emma McHarrie, Promotions Manager said: "We have built a very loyal following in the city and it is clear that the message is getting out that we host some of the best events in the Northwest."
"This means that demand is high and we need to open a department to help with the many bookings we get from groups of 10 and upwards. We will be announcing some very exciting events later in the year which will keep the Groups Department very busy!"
