Things are getting bigger at the Natural History Museum this week, as the museum announces a larger capacity in the iconic Central Hall as well as the launch of a new look events website.
Already renowned as one of the best large event spaces in London, Central Hall has now increased its capacity for seated dinners from 650 to 700.
The additional space is a result of a change in exhibitions within the archways in Central Hall, which effectively creates more floor space.
The improved website, which will also reflect the new capacity, went live this week.
With a refreshed look, the website will provide more information on the experienced events team at the Museum (which boasts over 80 years experience in the events industry) and additional details of the Museum’s environmental policy and award wins.
It will also include event imagery for the first time.
Zoë Watts, Head of Events & Catering at the Natural History Museum comments: “We have frequently been asked by our clients to accommodate larger numbers in Central Hall and we are delighted to now offer this, especially just before the Christmas period when an increased floor space is often welcome."
"In addition to this, our events dedicated website has been fully updated in line with our client’s requests. These changes to the Museum reflect our determination to continue to develop our events offering and ensure we are consistently leaders in the industry”.
