Amidst a weak economy, USI announces continued growth

usiIn light of the continued bad economic news in the media, Ungerboeck Systems International (USI), a global leader in event management software, has deviated from its long-standing practice of keeping its financial results strictly private.

For its current fiscal year, which began October 2008, Ungerboeck’s revenues are up 15.9% with earnings growth outpacing revenue growth.

All operating units worldwide (Americas, Europe, Asia and Australasia) have achieved higher results.

Commenting on USI’s strong financial results, Krister Ungerboeck, Executive Vice President, stated: “We find that visionary leaders look beyond the valley and continue to make strategic investments in software like ours because its productivity gains give them a potentially permanent competitive advantage that allows them to capture market share from their competition.”

For similar reasons, Ungerboeck continues to invest aggressively in research and development. Since expanding its St. Louis based corporate headquarters in May 2008, Ungerboeck has increased its staff by over 20% with superb talent to speed the development and service of the next generation of its product, called “Ungerboeck Version 20.”

“When released later this year, Version 20 will offer a dramatic leap forward in productivity, ease of use, and ROI over our current market leading product,” says Krister Ungerboeck.

“By centralizing our software engineering in our Head Quarters offices, we are able to outpace our competitors who outsource software development to third parties outside of the events industry located on the other side of the world.”
