ACC Liverpool has, on Monday, set to put one of the venue's largest logistics plans into place since it opened 18 months ago.
The TUC Congress kicked off Monday with over 4,000 delegates, visitors, media and exhibitors expected at the BT Convention Centre where they will discuss the state of the economy and unemployment.
Meanwhile in the adjacent Echo Arena, the finishing touches are being made for The Davis Cup by BNP Paribas.
Commencing on Friday, The Davis Cup will see around 5,000 tennis fans enjoy the world renowned tennis tournament.
The two events will drive a projected £2m into the local Liverpool economy.
Political and tennis dignitaries will be under ACC Liverpool's iconic roof with the UK's most famous Scots, Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Andrew Murray, set to take their respective centre stages.
The British Prime Minister visited BT Convention Centre Liverpool on Thuesday for the third time in the past twelve months.
Gordon Brown was the key note speaker at the TUC Annual Congress, which is taking place at the waterfront venue this week for the first time.
The latest visit comes only nine months after the Prime Minister hosted a meeting of his cabinet at the venue and a year after he made an impromptu appearance at a conference hosted by the North West Development Agency (NWDA).
Bob Prattey, Chief Executive of ACC Liverpool - home of the BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, said: "We've scored a hat trick when it comes to visits from the Prime Minister.
One of ACC Liverpool's aims is to attract key conferences and events that feature high profile influencers and decision makers - these people help to develop the positive profile of the Liverpool city region and so we are delighted that the Prime Minister has visited three times in one year."
The TUC Congress is one of the most high profile political events in the country and is estimated to be worth around £2million to the local economy as well as millions more in positive media coverage for the city.
Almost 4000 delegates, visitors, press and exhibitors are attending the event, which runs until Thursday (17th).
This week has proved one of the busiest in the venue's history as staff also prepare for the arrival of the Davis Cup tennis tournament at the adjacent Echo Arena, in which world number two Andy Murray is scheduled to play.
Bob added: "Hosting the TUC Congress and Davis Cup in the same week is a great coup for Liverpool and further cements the city's reputation as a destination for political and sporting events."
