Visit Chester & Cheshire has announced the winners of its sixth Annual Tourism Awards for 2010.
The awards, which were held at Chester Racecourse on 11 June, celebrate businesses which have demonstrated innovation, quality and achievements in the tourism and visitor economy.
Named among the winners were Carden Park Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa for Excellence in Business Tourism, Chester Zoo who scooped the Sustainable Tourism Award and the Blue Planet Aquarium who were awarded Best Tourism Experience of the Year for the Shark Dive.

Other winners on the night were Best Western Premier Queen Hotel (Large Hotel of the Year), Alexandra Court Hotel and Restaurant (Small Hotel of the Year), Tatton Park (Large Visitor Attraction of the Year), and Chester Heritage Tours (Small Visitor Attraction of the Year).
