VisitBrighton is set to unleash a new viral campaign to highlight Brighton & Hove as a business savvy tourism destination.
The viral campaign which will launch at International Confex 2010 will see VisitBrighton engage with delegates directly through a host of social media forums and marketing platforms to ‘See Brighton through Business Eyes’.
Delegates that visit the city will be given disposable cameras and invited to record their personal experiences through photography, which will then be uploaded on to a dedicated micro-site.
Explaining the reasons behind the campaign Daren Johnson, VisitBrighton, Convention Bureau Sales Manager said: “Most people have an affinity with Brighton & Hove as a renowned leisure destination. It is widely recognised as a centre for cultural excellence, with the expertise and infrastructure to host some of the worlds most vibrant and innovative events.”
He continues; “The campaign serves to shift peoples’ perception of Brighton & Hove to realising that what makes the city such an exceptional leisure destination is also what makes it such an exceptional business tourism destination.
“It is this same infrastructure and events expertise that makes the city the premiere business tourism destination of the South.”
VisitBrighton’s stand partners at the 2010 show include representation from Brighton Centre, the Brighton Dome, De Vere Grand Brighton, Hilton Brighton Metropole, Holiday Inn Brighton, Thistle Brighton, Sussex County Cricket Club and Pretty Clever Ltd.
VisitBrighton will be on stand B111 at International Confex.
