The Newcastle & Hunter Convention & Events Facilities Guide took out a top marketing and design award in Melbourne recently.
The guide took out the award fro the Travel & Tourism category in the Australian Catalogue Awards handed out by the Australian Catalogue Association which represents the producers, printers, distributors and suppliers to the catalogue industry.
Submissions for this prestigious award are judged on design, graphics / images, copywriting and effective targeting of the target market.
Developed to showcase the diversity and vibrancy of the Newcastle and Hunter conference sector, this marketing device is the main piece of collateral used by Newcastle Convention Bureau to support all the marketing initiatives it carries our in its role to attract more Convention business to the City & region.
The Guide is a collaborative initiative of Tourism Hunter, Newcastle Visitor & Convention Bureau and Hunter Valley Convention Bureau. The Designer was Newcastle creative & media agency Out of the Square Media (fondly & locally known as OOTS).
NVCB is a service unit of Newcastle City Council that has been marketing Newcastle and the surrounding areas as a conference destination for the past 17 years.
