VisitBrighton celebrates having won the bid to host the 6th International World Federation of Skull Base Societies Congress in 2012.
The conference will see 750 delegates from across the globe convene for the four day event, bringing an estimated £1 million worth of economic benefit to the city during their stay.
Being held at the newly refurbished, Hilton Metropole from 15 – 19th May 2012, the World Federation of Skull Base Societies meets only once every four years.
Throughout the week, there will be keynote addresses from an internationally renowned faculty of experts, panel discussions, breakfast mini-courses, video demonstrations and an opportunity for delegates to present their difficult cases for discussion.
Speaking of the win, Darren Johnson, Convention Bureau Sales Manager, VisitBrighton comments: “A win such as this further cements our city’s growing reputation as a destination of choice for international business tourism."
"We have world-class facilities from hotels and support services through to our outstanding social agenda. I, along with the rest of our city, can’t wait to welcome the delegates from around the world to experience all we have to offer.”
