Launched two years ago under the initiative of the Dubai Convention Bureau and utilized in over 30 congress bids, the Dubai Bid Alliance (DBA) was formed to offer a comprehensive package of necessary products and partners to prospective congress event organizers.
The number of hotel rooms in the program has increased by 100% in only one year, with Dubai hotels confirming their participation with 20,000 rooms across a variety of star ratings.
Inclusion of these rooms in the program means flexible terms and held rates for congress planners who are planning large events in Dubai.
Founding DBA committee members include the Dubai Convention Bureau, Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Emirates Airline, and a variety of other congress stakeholders based in Dubai.
Speaking of the success of the alliance, Jerad Bachar, Director of the Dubai Convention Bureau states “The Dubai Bid Alliance continues to grow through additional alliance partners. The program gives us a chance to deliver a strong, unified message to large-scale congress organizers."
