With statements like this VisitDenmark, Wonderful Copenhagen and Danish trade partners kicked off the MINDblowing Meetings campaign at EIBTM.
A new Danish ”MINDblowing Meetings” campaign is being launched at this year’s EIBTM in Barcelona, and the message is clear: Denmark is the place to go, to stage inspiring and innovative meetings with a greater return on meeting investment.
For years, the Danish Meetings industry has proactively worked with identifying and developing new tools to manage the ever-changing demands of future meetings and conferences, and for the Danes, the answer seems no longer to be blowing in the wind:
It is MINDblowing Meetings that engage, excite and encourage, that are needed by the organisers and the delegates.
Markus Diefenbach, International Marketing Manager – Business Tourism for VisitDenmark and one of the brains behind the new marketing concept, shares:
“MIND is a Danish way of designing meetings. It is a new “movement” fighting for engaging meetings and a high, measurable return on meeting investment. MIND stands for ”Meetovation in Denmark”, which is a unique innovative concept developed by the Danes – spearheaded by VisitDenmark, local partners within the Danish Meetings Industry and the Danish School of Education at the University of Aarhus - with the ambition to increase the return value of any kind of business event held.”
“We believe that the delegates should be kept actively involved, conference and meeting facilities should be used in new and creative ways, inspiring local experiences and flavours should be part of any itinerary, and the return on meeting investment (ROMI) should be closely monitored, to help companies and organisations to assess the benefits of their events in a more efficient way.
With Meetovation, we have a concept for achieving this – a MINDblowing one! – and in order to create further awareness and preference for it, we found it only natural to launch our international “MINDblowing Meetings” campaign this week at EIBTM,” Markus Diefenbach ends.
