The Site (SITE Global) International Foundation has announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2011 David Riddell Memorial Scholarship.
Established in 2007, the scholarship was created to honor the late David Riddell of Marriott Corporation, a past president of Site and one of Site’s most ardent supporters.
David was known for his passion to promote the value of performance improvement and the motivational experiences industry.
As a valuable Site leader and mentor, he envisioned what the organization could look like in the future and worked diligently to effect change for motivational experiences, global connections and evolution.
Working in concert with Site Chapter Leaders, the purpose of the scholarship is to provide an opportunity for worthy individuals to participate in Site educational programs to ensure the future growth of Site, just as David envisioned, provided those individuals meet the specified qualifications.
The scholarship will be awarded to one (1) individual to experience the Site International Conference taking place 13-15 October 2011 in Las Vegas, NV, USA.
This scholarship program is open to Site members as well as industry professionals and university students who are focused on the study of motivational experiences and incentive travel programs.
Applicants must be recommended by the President and/or board of directors of a Site Chapter.
Applicants are required to submit a written essay themed around motivational experiences, global connections or the evolution of our industry.
