IMEX America week kicked off strong for the Site International Foundation as the fourth annual Site Nite North America delighted industry professionals at the Encore Beach Club...a wonderful new venue at Wynn Las Vegas
Once again sold out, this installment raised significant funds for the Site International Foundation to carry out its mission — to enhance the awareness of effectiveness of motivational experiences and incentive travel.
The Foundation’s commitment to this mission was clearly demonstrated by a press conference held later in the week where preliminary results for two key studies were unveiled.
The first a collaboration between the Site International Foundation and the MPI Foundation on the Convergence of Incentive Travel and Meeting Planning Activities, and the second a collaboration with the Incentive Travel Council on The Participants’ View of Incentive Travel.
Site International Foundation President, Steve O'Malley stated, “Site Nite North America welcomed attendees from all over the world, setting the stage for impactful networking. I was amazed at how much commerce was taking place right there – deals everywhere – it was great."
"The Trustees of the Site International Foundation are thankful that through our partners and guests this event raised well over our target of $125,000 USD which will fund future research initiatives and education grants. It was our pleasure to both host this event and release vital industry research while the marketplace came together in Las Vegas.”
Site Nite was an evening filled with exciting performances, delightful cuisine and a silent auction featuring memorable travel experiences. But Site Nite has become known most for its incredible networking potential and this event delivered through a co-location with the CMI Top 25 reception and multiple companies making Site Nite the perfect close to their private customer events.
Wynn Las Vegas Senior Vice President of Hotel Sales, Danielle Babilino complimented the event noting, “More than 950 industry colleagues came together at Encore Beach Club to demonstrate their commitment to research and education for the incentive travel industry. The evening featured fantastic networking and an amazing performance by Le Rêve.”
The Site International Foundation recognized Kurt Paben, Senior Vice President, Business Loyalty, Aimia (Incorporating Carlson Marketing) for serving as Chairman of Site Nite for a second year. The Foundation also recognized the events lead diamond sponsor, Wynn Las Vegas and the Encore Beach Club, for their gracious and generous hospitality.
Jade sponsors for the event included InterContinental Hotels Group, Aimia (Incorporating Carlson Marketing) and Maritz Travel. Coral sponsors included South Africa Tourism, Pacific World Asia, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and AM Resorts.
