EEAA 2011 Conference To Address Industry Issues

EEAA‘The New Trade Show Experience’, the ‘Digital Strategy Puzzle’ and ‘Augmented Reality’ are among three of the thought-provoking topics to be presented to delegates by industry thought leaders at the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) 2011 Conference.

The full-day conference, to be staged at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on 6 December and hosted by talented ABC Broadcaster, James Valentine, will showcase up-to-the-minute thinking on the use of experiential marketing and technological advances in the delivery of exhibitions and events.

Breakout sessions will allow delegates to focus on areas of choice such as digital marketing, event operations and how to apply an understanding of the changing external environment to the future success of their exhibitions and events.

Experiential marketing mastermind and Director at Imagination, Alistair Wilson, will present at ‘The New Trade Show Experience’ plenary session, showcasing new ways to bring a brand to life, stimulating the five senses, and creating experiential opportunities before, during and after an event.

Joyce DiMascio, General Manager of EEAA said the conference is important opportunity for the industry to come together to hear from some exciting thought leaders within and outside the industry.

“We are delighted that the input received from working group of Members has generated an interesting program that will engage and inspire delegates with plenty of rich content to be presented by an impressive line-up of speakers,” Ms DiMascio said.

“Delegates will be provided with advice and practical tools to steer through the uncertainty of the external environment and better understand the client value proposition to create more compelling, sustainable and lucrative event, helping them keep pace with business and consumer expectations.”

Early bird rates are available for those who register before 20 November.

The Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner to be held immediately following the Conference at Crystal Palace at Luna Park Sydney will be an evening for the industry to celebrate its top performers.

Conference program and a list of speakers are available and bookings for the conference can be made via the EEAA website.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available for both the EEAA 2011 Conference and the EEAA Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner. For more information, contact events@eeaa.com.au.
