The Convention Industry Council (CIC) continues to accept nominations for the 2011 Hall of Leaders class.
The deadline for submitting nominations is 5:00 PM EST on July 26, 2010. Information regarding the nomination process and a nomination form can be found on the CIC’s website at http://www.conventionindustry.org/hol/about.htm.
Nominations may be submitted by either a CIC member organization or the general industry community.
The 2011 Hall of Leaders Gala will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore, MD, during AIBTM-The Americas Meetings and Events Exhibition. AIBTM will take place June 21-23 in the same location.
Since 1985, the CIC has honored the industry's outstanding leaders and innovators who have substantially contributed to the industry and whose efforts continue to shape it.
“The Hall of Leaders is the equivalent of a lifetime achievement award for our industry. The Inductees are literally a who’s who in the meetings, convention, travel and exhibition industry,” said CIC’s CEO Karen Kotowski, CAE, CMP. “We are looking forward to inducting another outstanding class of deserving leaders.”
