Australian businesses in the exhibitions and events industry have only four days to be in the running for the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia’s (EEAA) Awards for Excellence, with nominations closing this Friday, 7 October 2011.
Judged by independent industry experts, the Awards offer an unparalleled opportunity for venues, suppliers and organisers to showcase their innovation, performance and success.
Providing a benchmark for excellence, the Awards are a tribute to the outstanding achievement within the Australian and New Zealand exhibitions and events industry.
This year, the criteria in all Award Categories have been reviewed, providing nominees with better guidelines on how to tailor their entries and thereby maximise their chance of winning.
“These awards provide businesses in the industry with a tremendous opportunity to showcase their successes over the past year, and to increase their public profile. We urge every company in the exhibition sector to enter,” said Joyce DiMascio, General Manager, EEAA.
“These awards are a tribute to Australia’s exhibition industry and to the commitment and passion of its members. Don’t miss the chance to be in the running for the exhibition industry's most prestigious awards”.
2010 winner, Dona White, CEO at North Port Events, shares, “The prestige of the award uplifts the entire team, reaffirms what you do and validates the hard work put in. We’ve loved the publicity and honour our EEAA awards have given us and only hope we’re worthy of another shot at one this year.”
Winners will be announced at the Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner, 6 December at iconic harbourside venue, Crystal Palace at Luna Park Sydney.
Nominations close this Friday 7 October 2011. The entry kit is available online http://www.eeaa.com.au/about-awards.php or contact the secretariat on 02 9413 9520.
